Paradise Palms
Today I am again blog hopping with the lovely Crafty Collaborations Team. The Stamp Set I am using for this project is Paradise Palms from the New Mini Catalogue, along with the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue.
This blog is called Thursday Throwback. We were given a few options to choose from for this project and one of them was to case a card from an old catalogue which is what I did.
The card I am caseing is from a Mini Spring/Summer Catalogue 2019.
Materials Used
- Paradise Palms Stamp Set
- Bermuda Bay Cardstock measuring 7.75 x 3.75″
- Basic White Cardstock cut and scored to measure 8 x 4″ (Base Card)
- Basic White Cardstock measuring 7.5 x 3.5″
- Memento Black Ink
- Crumb Cake Ink
- Bermuda Bay Ink
- Costal Cabana Ink
- Dimensionals
- Gold Embossing Powder
- Heat Gun
- Paper Trimmer
- Liquid Glue
- Bakers Twine Essentials
- Blending Brushes
- Versamark
How To Create
- Blend the Sky with Bermuda Bay, and Costal Cabana ink using a blending brush. Blend the sand with the Crumb Cake ink.
- Stamp the Palm Tree trunks with Crum Cake Ink onto the front of the blended card.
- Using Versamark Ink stamp the Palm Tree tops and add Gold Embossing Powder and heat emboss with the heat tool
- Using a scrap of white cardstock Blend Bermuda Bay Ink across it.
- Stamp the sentiment with Black Memento Ink.
- Tear the cardstock either side of the sentiment.
- Punch a hole at both ends of the sentiment and add Bakers Twine. Finish by tying a knot for effect.
- Add dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and attach to the card.
Don’t forget to check your catalogues old and new for inspiration when making your cards.
