Today I am blog hopping with the Stampin’ For Christmas Team. Each month the team will get together and create a Christmas project for you. I hope you enjoy this wrapped Christmas Gift box that I have made for you today!
I used the Scalloped Kraft Treat Box from Stampin Up and gave it a makeover!! This wrapped Christmas gift box is just perfect for your special Christmas gifts!
Take a piece of DSP measuring 12 x 2″ ( 30 x 5cm) I chose the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper, then wrap the paper around the box and crease where the paper hits the edges, this will make a neat wrap. There will be a small gap where the paper doesn’t meet, however It will be hidden by cutting out a circle using the largest die from the Layered Circle dies. Attach the wrap to the circle with liquid glue.
The flowers and foliage were from the Poinsettia Petals Stamps and I also used the Poinsettia Dies to cut them out. Doesn’t the foliage look so colourful and rich. Arrange the Flowers and Foliage on the circle, when you are happy with the arrangement, attach with glue dots or liquid glue.
Attach pieces of the narrower Evening Evergreen Ribbon to add more detail before securing the flowers and foliage in position. Add Tag to finish the Wrapped Christmas Gift Box.
