Vellum Cookies and Coffee Box
Today I am blog hopping with the Crafty Collaborations Team and our Theme is Winter Holidays. I chose Bake Cookies Day which is December 18th to make this lovely Vellum Cookies and Coffee Box.
I couldn’t believe that there is literally a holiday for every day. From serious to silly. I cant wait to see what the other members of the team have created.
although I haven’t baked cookies, I have made a box to hold Cookies and a sachet of Coffee, a lovely gift for someone. The Stamp Set Nothings Better Than and the die set Love You More Than were just perfect for what I needed.
I have used Balmy Blue Cardstock along with Your A Peach DSP
The box measures 4″ x 7″ (10cm x 17.5cm) and is perfect to hold 2 sachets of Coffee and 2 packs of Cookies a perfect treat to gift.
I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut out the circles
The Tailored Tag Punch is perfect for punching out the lid grips, it also makes a beautiful bow and tails. I will show you how I have made them in my Video Tutorial.
I have also coloured the Vellum with the Balmy Blue Ink to make a belly band and a bow, adding a few Coffee Cups at the bottom of the box finishes it off perfectly.
Measurements
Both the base and lid cardstock need to measure 6″ x 9″ (15cm x 22.5cm) However the lid needs to be a fraction larger which I will show you how to achieve this in the video. The DSP Your A Peach measures 4″ x 7″ (10cm x 17.5cm) Vellum 2 x 11″ (5cm x 28cm) Vellum 4 x 4″ (10 x 10cm)
