Sending Birthday Wishes
These cute Hippos are out and about again Sending Birthday Wishes this time. This is a lovely bright and fun card and these Hippos are in the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.
I thought his pose was perfect for popping something into his paws. I took the balloons from the Elephant Parade Set. The word Sending and the Birthday Wishes is from the Sending Smiles Set. I also used a mask from the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks.
I used the blending brushes and the Sweet Sorbet Ink Pad and lightly blended the ink`over the Mask.
The Card I used measures 6 x 6 and I used the White Cardstock. Each of the layers are 1/4″ smaller each time. I used Sweet Sorbet for the 1st Layer. The Balloons and Hippo were coloured using the Stampin Blends Pens and the Sending word was die cut from the Fresh Fressia Cardstock.

This card is adorable!! You’re right, that hippo’s pose totally lends to putting something in his outstretched hand. Your watercoloring on the balloons is fabulous!!
