Jar Of Flowers | Celebration Card | Stampin Up
Welcome to my blog. I am once again blog hopping with the Ink Stamp Share Team . It is not so much a Theme today, but a colour challenge, where we have to use a least 3 of the colours from the list below.
I actually managed to incorporate most of them into the card with the colouring of the flowers.
The card I have made today is a called a Bookbinding card. If you look at the picture you will see the score line and that is where it opens. Something a little different.
Fresh-picked flowers in canning jar vases are one of the joys of summer. And the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set brings you a version that stays fresh indefinitely.
I stamped the flowers using Memento Black Ink and used a selection of Alcohol Blending Pens to colour the flowers. I also added a small amount of shading to give the flowers some depth, then fussy cut around them. The jar was stamped with Memento Black Ink (second generation) this gave it a more subtle look which is what I was trying to achieve. I then cut a small gift tag out freehand and added a small bow to finish it off.
