Inked Background Card Using Hand Penned Petals

Introduction To Inked Background

When starting an inked background card, I think you have an idea in mind what the end result will look like, but it is all down to how you add your alcohol to the ink and how much etc. Its always a surprise when its finished. It wont be far off what you imagine it will turn out like though so dont worry and enjoy experimenting.

Vellum

When creating inked backgrounds make a larger piece than is needed. Any off cuts no matter how small will transform another card or tag.

I have used the Hand Penned Petals Stamps and the Penned Dies. This is a set that is very versatile and you will find many more projects on my blog featuring this set.

This close up shows how pretty these stamps and dies are. You can also see how a little simple shading using the stampin blends can transform an image.
