Today I am blog hopping with the Ink Stamp Share Team, we are showcasing what we have been working on. I have been using the Hello Ladybug stamp set and this Hello Ladybug Birthday Card is definitely a cute one!
Doesn’t everyone love Ladybugs? They do remind me of summer days and are loved by everyone especially gardeners!
Its a lovely colourful card and I have added a sun as well by cutting the daisy in half.
Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper
Once again I find myself using this fantastic Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper which measures 4″ x 6″ (10.2 x 15.2 cm) The designs include artsy swooshes, splotches, brushstrokes, and patterns for incredibly unique paper-crafting projects. The paper includes a mix of small and large sized patterns so you can mix and match for different looks and combinations. It is also sized perfectly to be used for card fronts or cut into shapes and strips for card elements.
The basic borders dies were used to cut out the clouds. I’m so glad these are being carried over to the New Catalogue! If you haven’t seen these fantastic border dies do take a look.
I choose a piece of the Abstract Beauty Dsp and then embossed it with the Gingham Embossing Folder and I think it looks great! But if you haven’t got an embossing folder don’t worry it will still look great without!
If you look at the ladybirds wings you can stamp the dots on them or you can add pearls. The Matte Black Dots which I added to the wings are absolutely perfect.
I hope you have enjoyed my hello ladybug birthday card. Its now time to see what everyone else has been making!
