Gingerbread and Peppermint Christmas Card
Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am blog hopping with the Stampin For Christmas Team. I hope you like the card I have made with the lovely Gingerbread and Peppermint Designer Series Paper.
I love this Gingerbread and Peppermint Christmas card it looks so cute! Don’t the cookie mittens look good enough to eat, which were cut from the papers, I attached them to Real Red cardstock, before cutting around them leaving a small border around the edge. This gave the mittens more dimension. Add a silver twine to each mitten to finish them.
Designer Series Paper
“Bake” up batches of cookies without the mess using the Gingerbread & Peppermint 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper. The paper is shaded and textured to look like freshly baked goodies. The colours in the papers include browns for biscuits and greens and reds for peppermints. Cut out the larger shaped images for cute accents, or use the plaids, stripes, and swirls for candy, backgrounds, or accent pieces. With 48 sheets, you’ll be able to create cards and tags for all your Christmas projects.
The decorative circle on the card is die cut from the Layering Circle Dies, I also added dimensionals to the back of the circle, snowflake and mittens before attaching to the card.
The beautiful Snowflakes come in a pack of 24 and are fantastic for quickly adding to your cards and Christmas packaging.
They feature an iridescent foil and can be easily added to tags and gifts.
For the sentiment on the card. I used the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set which has 8 sentiments from some of the most beloved Christmas songs, you won’t be able to contain yourself—you’ll want to start crafting while humming along to the sounds of the season.
