Welcome to my blog, Today I am blog hopping with a lovely team called Stampin For Christmas. Yes you did read that correctly! The card is called Driving Home For Christmas.

This Christmas blog runs all year and its quite odd making a Christmas card in January. However its great to see what ideas everyone has come up with.

Apart from the Sentiment I haven’t used any Christmas stamps.

Β I have listed below everything I have used to make this card. Although I have used quite a few sets you will be able to substitute some things.

Materials Used

  • Driving By Stamp Set
  • Paradise Palms Stamp Set
  • Rainbow Dies
  • Stampin Blends Pens, Red, Misty Moonlight, Highland Heather, Smokey Slate, Black,
  • Basic White Cardstock 6 x 6″ and two pieces of 3.5 x 3.5″
  • Navy Cardstock 4 x 4″ and 4.5 x 4.5″
  • Ink Pads Whisper White, Navy, Black
  • Blending Brushes
  • New Horizons Designer Series Paper.
  • Horizons Dies
  • Dimensionals
  • Liquid Glue

How To Make

  1. Blend the Night of Navy ink over the white cardstock, add moon using whisper white ink.
  2. cut freehand a snow bank from white cardstock and glue in place.
  3. Cut out of the New Horizons dsp the Trees from the Horizon Dies and glue in place.
  4. Stamp the car image in black and colour with the pens. Cut out and add to the card using dimensionals.
  5. Stamp a sentiment on the bottom of the card.
  6. Attach the layers following the image.
  7. cut out the decorative border using the Rainbow Dies, then cut and attach.
  8. Layer the final cardstock pieces and glue to inside of card.
