Christmas Cabin Cards

I have made 3 Christmas cards with the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set. The purpose of these cards is to show how we can start with a simple project and then step up the design on each card. I have used the same background paper on each card so that you can see  how I have added more detail to each of the cards

Wether you are making cards or scrapbooking, when you craft with this beautiful Designer Series Paper it evokes a tranquil setting. These calming scenes and muted colors will set the mood, or you can create a striking image by adding a pop of color.

The 1st card I made is a nice simple card which needs nothing more than the Designer Series Paper and a simple inscription which is suitable for batch making or a beginner, whichever it is this beautiful DSP will create a stunning card.

For the next card I stepped up the design by stamping a couple of images from the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set, then fussy cut around them before adding to the card along with the sentiment.

The final card has 3 layers. The first being the background paper. The next layer I chose the paper that has all the cabins on, I cut a piece to fit the width of the card and cut around the tops of the cabins then placed it on top of the background paper. I then stamped the same images as the 2nd card and also added dimension to the back of them to raise them off the card. I added subtle colours to the trees to add more interest.
