Alcohol Ink and Embossing Folders
Hi and welcome to my blog, today I am joining the wonderful Pootlers Team and together we are showcasing the New Catalogue, you will find some great ideas and inspiration. I hope you enjoy my Alcohol Ink and Embossing Folders Card
I have taken a piece of Vellum Cardstock and 3 of the Stampin Blends Pens in the New Colours. Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet. I have scribbled over the vellum in no specific order before adding Isopropyl Alcohol to the ink.
You will see the Alcohol react with the ink once you apply it. You can let it air dry which is fairly quick or use a Heat Gun to speed up the process. Using a heat gun also allows you to push the alcohol and ink around and make any pattern you like.
Once your happy with your coloured vellum we then put it in an embossing folder and run it through the machine. I have used the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder but choose your favourite one.
You will see that once you add a piece of white cardstock behind the Vellum it transforms it. Experiment with different colours of cardstock youll be amazed at the different looks it gives.
I have used the lovely Sending Smiles Bundle and the Sweet Sorbet Ink from the New Annual Catalogue for the sentiments, and added Glossy Dots to finish.
