This card A Little Bird Told Me… is a mix of a few different stamps and I love how it turned out. I fell in love with the Gingerbread House Bundle from the New Mini Catalogue and thought the house with a few alterations would make a perfect home for this little bird
The little bird is from the set Sweet Songbird. I wanted to keep the colours quite subtle, I chose Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party, Sahara Sands and Sweet Sorbet.
I cut the chimney away from the gingerbread house and added a few elements to it, isnt it just the cutest. The card is suitable for so many occasions and would delight young and old.
I wanted to add something to the background to take away the starkness. I took 2 blending brushes that i had already used on another card. All I know is one brush had blue on and the other green. I didnt add any more ink, I just blended what ink was left on them. It gave a lovely subtle background which was perfect for the look I wanted.
The card is easy, although there is some time in making all the elements. enjoy!
Gingerbread Bundle
This lovely bundle can be adapted to make so many different cards, the stamp set has 16 photopolymer stamps and there are 18 dies.
