Remembrance Day Card
A Remembrance Day Card to mark this poignant Day
Today I am blog hopping with the Crafty Collaborations Team.
We are all creating a project that honors those who gave their lives protecting their countries.
The poppies are stamped onto white cardstock using Black Memento Ink.
Ink up the poppy stamp and stamp it twice onto scrap paper, then stamp the poppies on the cardstock
Ink again and stamp once onto scrap paper and then stamp below the first block of poppies.
The third stamping was directly onto the cardstock giving the poppies a faint impression.
This now gives the impression of poppies in the distance.
Place a piece of Vellum over the top of the stamped image and cut both pieces with the Scalloped Contour Dies.
I then stamped another poppy and fussy cut it out and attched it to the vellum, all the poppies were coloured with Watercolour Pencils and a Blending Pen
The Ruffled Red Ribbon was used on the bottom of the Red Red cardstock before mounting the image using dimensionals. This was then attached to a card base. A simple and apt sentiment from the Beauty Of Friendship Stamp Set was added to the card to finish it.
This Remembrance Day Card card could be used for many occasions and I do hope you try it.
