Alcohol Ink Technique on Peaceful Cabin Christmas Card

Alcohol Ink Technique Card

Today I am Blog Hopping with the Ink Stamp Share Team. This month we have TIC TAC TOE its a bit like Noughts and Crosses, we choose a line and create a project based on the 3 items listed in the chosen line.  My line was, Blue, Square, and Christmas. I hope you like what I have created.

I have used an Alcohol Ink Technique on this Peaceful Cabin Christmas Card. it is an easy project if you have the correct products, The step by step video below will cover everything you will need and also how to create it..

You can use a single colour on the Vellum Cardstock or you may decide to choose a few colours,  once you have added the alcohol to the colours and they are dry, should you wish to add more colours you can, or just add alcohol to change the pattern, I will show you how in the video.

Using the blue stamping blends pen (Dark Night Of Navy) on Its own makes a great background for the sky as you can see here. I also used the Layering Circle dies to cut a panel out of the blue cardstock, The Vellum was added to the card base with Stampin Seal, before adding dimensionals to the back of the blue cardstock and attaching it to the base card.

The cabin image was stamped in Smoky Slate Ink  onto the white cardstock and then using the Cabin Dies I cut around the cabin and kept a white border at the bottom which represents the snow. I added a sentiment and a few silver stars to the sky to finish the card.
